To keep your Cafeking theme secure, updated, and fully compatible with the latest WordPress version, regular updates are required.
You can update the theme in two ways:
Automatic Updates #
For automatic updates, use the Envato Market plugin.
- Install and activate the Envato Market plugin
- Connect it using your Envato username and API key
- Once connected, the theme will appear in your update list
- When a new version is released, you will see an update notification in WordPress
- Click Update Now to install the latest version
Manual Update Method #
If you prefer manual updates:
- Download the latest version of the Cafeking theme from ThemeForest
- Go to Appearance → Themes
- Activate a default WordPress theme temporarily (e.g., Twenty Twenty-Four)
- Upload and install the new Cafeking theme ZIP file
- Replace/overwrite the existing version when prompted
Important Note #
Always take a full backup of your website before performing any theme update to avoid data loss or unexpected issues.
